作者简介
苏姗·W·鲍尔，1968年出生于美国弗吉尼亚，中小学时期在家接受父母教育。她10岁学习拉丁语，高中年龄时就成了一位职业音乐家，16岁时写作三部小说。17岁进入大学学习，五学期就修完了英语专业课程，后作为访问学生赴牛津大学学习21世纪神学。她继续在费城获得神学硕士，同时选修希伯来语，1994年于弗吉尼亚获英语语言文学硕士，专攻翻译理论。1994年开始在大学讲授写作与美国文学，同时获得美国研究专业的博士学位。
她最近的著作包括系列历史读本《世界的故事》，此外还出版了《良好教育的心灵》与《受训练的心灵》。她还为一些基督社团担任编辑和写作。
